Rainford Precision Machines Ltd will demonstrate its cutting-edge micro-machining technologies at Medical Technology Ireland on 24–25 September at Galway Racecourse, Stand L56.
The specialist in ultra-high precision engineering will spotlight its Kern five-axis machining centres, Benzinger turning centres, Finepart micro-abrasive waterjet systems, and the newly launched Innolite ultra-precision turning machines designed for the optics sector. These advanced systems are supported by premium cutting tools from top global brands including Union Tool, Louis Bélet, and Hufschmied.
The Kern machines, with repeatability and accuracy down to ±1µm, will be a key attraction, alongside the Innolite range, which brings diamond turning capabilities to Irish manufacturers for the first time. Rainford will also introduce PEMTec’s PECM technology, known for sub-micron machining accuracy and contact-free surface finishing as fine as 0.03µm.
Further highlights include Finepart’s five-axis waterjet machines, offering positional accuracy of ±2.5µm and cutting tolerance of ±10µm, and the Benzinger lathes, known for their flexibility and precision.
To support tool performance, Rainford Precision has also invested in a Keyence digital microscope to deliver tool analysis and consultancy services for customers across the UK and Ireland.
With its extensive portfolio and technical expertise, Rainford Precision continues to push boundaries in micro-manufacturing for the medical, optical, and high-tech sectors.
