Alucast Surpasses £10 Million Sales Mark with £2 Million Investment Boost

by Anna

Alucast Ltd, a prominent aluminium foundry in the UK, has surpassed £10 million in sales following a £2 million investment drive. The company, based in Wednesbury, has expanded its workforce by 20%, employing over 120 people. The recent funding has facilitated the commissioning of six CNCs, a HDTD low-pressure machine, and enhancements to its ‘new core’ capabilities.

The highlight of the investment is the acquisition of an 800-tonne LK high-pressure die-casting machine, enabling the production of high-integrity parts through a fully automated cell. This advancement reduces component handling, enhancing competitiveness in international markets. Alucast has already secured a new export contract worth £1.2 million.
