by Anna

Connectivity is poised to revolutionize manufacturing, impacting production planning, process optimization, and quality assurance. Recognizing its significance, EMO Hannover 2023, taking place from September 18 to 23, will feature a dedicated joint stand focused on this critical theme.

Visitors can explore the latest products and innovations related to Industry 4.0, Machine Learning, Predictive Maintenance, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), and more at stand H22 in Hall 9, as stated by Dr. Wilfried Schäfer, Executive Director of the EMO organizer VDW (German Machine Tool Builders’ Association), Frankfurt am Main.

Fifteen industrial and research-based exhibitors will present their cutting-edge products and services across nearly 500 square meters of exhibition space. These exhibitors include Algra S.p.A., ASM Technologies Limited, Coscom Computer GmbH, EIT Manufacturing Central gGmbH, Institute of Production Engineering and Machine Tools of Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz University Hanover, Konradin-Verlag Robert Kohlhammer GmbH, MC Technologies GmbH, Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen GmbH, RWTH Aachen University, Siemens AG, Smartes Teknoloji Yazilim Dan. San. Tic. Ltd. Şti., Spanflug Technologies GmbH, SSV Software Systems GmbH, and T-Systems International.

Microsoft Deutschland GmbH is also participating, demonstrating its commitment to supporting the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry.

Ariane Wahrmann, Head of Marketing at Spanflug Technologies GmbH, Munich, highlights the opportunity the Future of Connectivity Area offers to small and medium-sized enterprises and start-ups. She notes, “In 2019, we presented our calculation software for machining companies in the Startup Area for the first time and were overwhelmed by the positive response. This year, we have not only expanded our presence at the show, but we will also be presenting the significantly enhanced solution package ‘Spanflug Make’. The latest version of the software now covers the entire quoting process – from the initial request to the customer-ready quote.”

EMO Hannover 2023 presents a platform for the manufacturing industry to explore the future of connectivity, fostering innovation and collaboration among stakeholders.

This dedicated focus on connectivity at EMO Hannover 2023 reflects the industry’s commitment to embracing digital transformation and harnessing the power of connectivity for enhanced productivity and efficiency.
