Nvidia and Schneider Electric Partner to Build AI Factories

by Anna

Nvidia and Schneider Electric have announced a strategic partnership to co-develop infrastructure that will power the AI factories of the future. The collaboration was unveiled this week at Nvidia’s GTC event in Paris, France.

The companies aim to advance research and development of critical tools such as power, cooling, and control systems designed to support next-generation AI manufacturing facilities. This partnership aligns with the European Union’s “InvestAI” initiative, which plans to invest over $230 billion in artificial intelligence. It also supports the EU’s AI Continent Action Plan, targeting the creation of at least 13 AI factories and five large AI gigafactories across Europe.

The partnership builds on previous collaborations, such as the launch of the world’s first digital twin for large-scale electrical systems in AI factories, developed together with ETAP and powered by Nvidia’s Omniverse Blueprint platform.

In a joint statement, Nvidia and Schneider Electric pledged to continue accelerating infrastructure development, fast-tracking new product rollouts and reference designs to help build the AI factories of tomorrow.
