Dassault Systèmes announced on the 16th that it is spotlighting its cutting-edge “3DExperience” platform at the Paris Air Show, held from June 16 to 22 in France. The showcase emphasizes how virtual twin technology and generative artificial intelligence (AI) are poised to redefine the aerospace and defense industries.
At Booth B159 (Chalet), Dassault Systèmes is demonstrating how the 3DExperience platform integrates virtual twin capabilities and AI-based generative design to streamline the entire aircraft lifecycle—from design and testing to production and operation. The platform promises to accelerate innovation and efficiency in a highly complex industry.
Among the highlights are new features that automate aircraft design, enhance airframe optimization for testing and certification, ensure quality control, and help reduce long-term maintenance costs.
A key element of the exhibit is a panel discussion focusing on how virtual twin technology is transforming sectors including defense, aerospace supply chains, aviation mobility, manufacturing, and even education.
David Ziegler, Vice President of Dassault Systèmes’ Aerospace and Defense division, emphasized the broader implications of this digital shift:
“The future of aerospace and defense demands new approaches to creating machines, drones, satellites, equipment, and smart systems. Our 3DExperience platform—powered by generative AI, industry knowledge, and deep expertise—is driving this transformation.”
By blending innovation with real-world applications, Dassault Systèmes aims to lead the next evolution in aerospace and defense through immersive virtual technologies and intelligent systems.
