California residents can now purchase Honda’s popular Super Quiet Series generators, following key design updates to meet state and federal emissions regulations.

Honda Power Sports & Products has officially introduced its EU3200i and EU7000iS Super Quiet Series generators to the California market. The launch follows engineering enhancements that bring both models into compliance with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Phase 3 standards and the stringent California Air Resources Board (CARB) Tier 4 requirements.

The changes mark a significant milestone for Honda, as California maintains some of the most rigorous air quality regulations in the nation. To meet these standards, the company incorporated a number of emissions-reducing technologies into the generators. These include an evaporative emission control system, a redesigned fuel cap tether, and an upgraded canister with improved working capacity—all aimed at minimizing pollutants such as nitrogen oxides, hydrocarbons, particulate matter, and sulfur compounds.
