Adding to its portfolio of electric vehicle components, ZF will debut the e-comp Scroll electric air compressor. Utilizing a spiral compressor design, the e-comp Scroll offers low noise and vibration—an important advantage for electric commercial vehicles. Its oil-free operation also significantly cuts maintenance demands, improving reliability and cost efficiency.

Citybus CMS: Elevating Safety Standards

ZF will present Citybus CMS, an innovative brake assistance system based on its proprietary OnGuardMAX ADAS platform. The system actively warns drivers and automatically brakes to reduce the severity of potential collisions, exceeding current safety standards for city buses. A dedicated brake cascade system ensures optimal protection for stationary or unsecured passengers during braking maneuvers. Several bus manufacturers have already integrated Citybus CMS into their fleets.

Digital and Automated Driving Solutions

The company’s digital fleet management platform, ZF Bus Connect, will be showcased, focusing on uptime management for electric buses. The system provides real-time driveline and battery status monitoring, cross-system condition analysis, and remote diagnostics to optimize fleet performance.

ZF Mobility Solution also offers engineering and consultancy services to support cities and public transport operators (PTOs) in developing autonomous public transport—from initial tendering to deployment. At the UITP Summit, ZF will share insights from pioneering Level 4 autonomous vehicle projects, including experiences with regulatory approval and operational deployment.
