One of the standout features of the showcased machines is the integration of Sinumerik ONE from Siemens, providing a modern and user-friendly control system. The incorporation of SIMATIC S7-1500F PLC results in significantly faster PLC cycle times, optimizing productivity and machining quality.

With its range of advanced technology functions, Sinumerik ONE enhances machining speed, contour accuracy, and overall quality, leading to increased productivity, flexibility, and efficiency.

The exhibition will also feature a mobile robot operating on an AGV, highlighting its capabilities in loading and unloading tools and workpieces. These robots operate autonomously, avoiding obstacles and seamlessly integrating into dynamic production environments.

Additionally, WFL will present the incorporation of smart sensors into their tools, providing detailed information on tool conditions and machining states. This sensor technology enhances transparency and process monitoring, ensuring reliable and economical production.

EMO visitors will have the opportunity to experience ultrasonic measurement live, demonstrating its potential for autonomous and low-personnel production. Ultrasonic measurement proves invaluable in assessing and compensating for tool drift in deep center holes.

Other highlights include the myWFL Cockpit operational data acquisition system, showcasing machine and program states, productivity, and energy usage. The newly integrated myWFL Energy device provides real-time power data and energy consumption metrics for each workpiece.

WFL’s new machine design will also be unveiled at EMO, featuring a modern color scheme and logo, marking a significant step forward in the company’s visual identity.
