Takeuchi Expands North American Line with TB395W Excavator

by jingji47

Takeuchi-US has introduced the TB395W wheeled excavator to its North American product lineup, marking a strategic expansion of its equipment offerings. The 23,424-pound machine combines traditional excavator capabilities with on-road mobility, addressing growing demand for versatile equipment in urban construction and infrastructure projects.

Power and Performance for Demanding Job Sites

Powered by a 114 HP Tier 4 Final-compliant diesel engine, the TB395W delivers 339 ft-lbs of torque and features a closed-loop hydraulic system for precise attachment control. The excavator boasts impressive digging metrics including a 13.5-foot digging depth and 27-foot cutting height, with maximum bucket breakout force reaching 13,241 pounds. Three auxiliary hydraulic circuits (32 gpm primary, 14.5 gpm secondary, and dedicated quick coupler circuit) provide flexibility for various attachments.

Advanced Mobility and Control Systems

The TB395W’s dual steering modes (2WS and 4WSC crab steering) and auto cruise functionality enable efficient navigation in confined spaces. Its two-piece boom design allows full bucket retraction to the dozer blade – a critical feature for urban work sites. Operators can achieve road speeds up to 22 mph, significantly reducing transit time between job locations compared to tracked models.

Operator-Focused Design Enhancements

Takeuchi has completely redesigned the TB395W’s cab with an 8-inch color touchscreen, intuitive jog dial controls, and 270-degree camera system. The climate-controlled environment features an air-ride suspension seat, low-effort pilot controls, and integrated DAB radio. External maintenance points have been optimized for accessibility, with locking steel service doors protecting critical components from theft or vandalism.

Smart Technology for Fleet Management

Standard Takeuchi Fleet Management (TFM) telematics provide real-time equipment monitoring, geofencing capabilities, and maintenance alerts. “The TB395W represents our commitment to bringing global equipment solutions to North America,” said Lee Padgett, Takeuchi product manager. “Its combination of mobility, power, and intelligent features makes it ideal for contractors facing diverse urban challenges.” The machine is now available through Takeuchi’s North American dealer network.
