Bromsgrove-based TLM Laser continues to strengthen its enduring partnerships, providing access to the latest generation laser technologies that have the potential to revolutionize various manufacturing processes. The latest addition to TLM’s impressive range comes from their esteemed partner, FOBA Laser, in the form of a state-of-the-art Ultrashort Pulse Laser system.


Ultrashort pulse lasers (USP) are characterized by their incredibly short pulse width, falling within the femtosecond to picosecond range. These lasers offer a myriad of advantages across various material processing applications.


A key benefit of USP lasers lies in their ability to deliver high-precision processing while minimizing the heat absorbed by the surrounding area. The adjustable pulse duration, ranging from femtoseconds to picoseconds, ensures low heat input despite the high pulse energy, enabling precise and reliable marking even on temperature-sensitive materials.

The laser’s capacity to create fine structures during the process prevents light reflection, resulting in deep black laser marks that offer excellent readability from various viewing angles. With the F.0100-ir laser system, virtually any material, from metals to heat-sensitive components and transparent materials, can be marked, opening up numerous possibilities.

The new laser marking system finds ideal applications in the medical sector, excelling in producing high-contrast marks on medical instruments made of stainless steel, titanium, or plastics. It also proves highly effective in the production of automotive and electronic components.
