NEW YORK – Robotics innovator Yarbo has successfully closed a $27 million Series B funding round, positioning the company to transform seasonal yard maintenance through its modular robotic system. The investment will accelerate mass production, strengthen supply chains, and fuel research for next-generation yard automation technologies as Yarbo prepares for global expansion and eventual IPO.
From Snowbot to All-Season Solution
Originally launched in 2015 as a specialized snow removal robot, Yarbo has evolved into a comprehensive yard care platform through its patented “1+N” modular system. The core robot now supports interchangeable attachments for snow blowing, lawn mowing, leaf blowing, and trimming – with future modules planned for tasks ranging from waste management to fruit harvesting. This versatility has driven remarkable growth, including 6,000+ pre-orders in 2024 and projected 4-5x sales growth in 2025.
Trimmer Module Gains Market Traction
The company recently demonstrated strong consumer demand during a livestream product launch, selling 284 trimmer attachments and generating $850,000 in just two hours. The new trimmer module, designed for precision edging and hard-to-reach areas, complements Yarbo’s existing mower and blower attachments. Production is scaling rapidly to meet orders from North America, Europe, Japan, and Australia.
Cutting-Edge Features Redefine Automation
Yarbo’s technological advancements include visual “Follow Me” tracking, 3,500-pound towing capacity, and rapid module swapping – all supported by its proprietary Halow-powered data center for enhanced connectivity. These innovations, showcased at CES 2025, highlight Yarbo’s mission to eliminate manual yard work through intelligent automation.
The Future of Outdoor Maintenance
With this funding round, Yarbo solidifies its position as the leader in outdoor robotics. The company’s modular approach allows continuous expansion of capabilities without replacing the core unit – creating an evolving ecosystem that promises to make traditional yard tools obsolete. As Yarbo CEO noted, “We’re not just building better equipment; we’re creating a future where yards maintain themselves.”
