Luke Smoothy, the founder of Get It Made, expressed his satisfaction with the company’s inclusion in the FT1000 list, emphasizing the dedication and effort invested by the team. Smoothy highlighted the significance of this accomplishment, especially in light of the challenges faced during the COVID-19 restrictions in 2020 and 2021.

He credited the unforeseen opportunities that arose during this period, allowing Get It Made to address critical gaps in supply chains across the UK through manufacturing services such as 3D printing, CNC machining, and injection moulding.

Smoothy commented on the company’s pride in being the fourth fastest-growing manufacturing company in the UK and the most productive manufacturing business based on turnover per employee. He attributed this success to the team’s hard work, attention to detail, and consistent delivery of bespoke, high-quality outcomes, fostering a loyal and expanding client base.

Acknowledging the fast-paced evolution of innovation and technology, Smoothy emphasized the company’s ability to leverage these advancements to benefit customers, driven by a commitment to providing simplified manufacturing processes alongside exceptional customer service.

The FT1000 Europe’s Fastest Growing Companies list, a joint effort by the Financial Times and research company Statista, annually identifies and honors the fastest-growing companies across Europe. This recognition serves as public acknowledgment of firms achieving fast, sustainable, and organic growth.

With 130 UK companies on the list, the United Kingdom holds the third most-represented position, following Italy and Germany. Notably, London remains a thriving growth hub, with 69 companies from the capital securing spots on the FT1000 list, contributing to London’s eighth consecutive year of maintaining its lead.
