Bobcat Company has launched the MT120, its most capable mini track loader to date, engineered to deliver unmatched performance in confined workspaces. The new model boasts a 1,200-pound operating capacity – a significant upgrade from previous models – while maintaining the compact 36-inch width that defines the series.
Engineered for Efficiency
The MT120’s 1.2-liter non-DPF engine eliminates particulate filter maintenance while delivering robust power. Its innovative track system offers optional configurations (11-inch or standard 9.1-inch) that reduce ground pressure to as low as 3.9 psi, enabling operation on delicate surfaces without damage. The machine’s 88-inch lift height and 22-inch reach provide unprecedented versatility for a loader of its size.
Operator-Focused Innovations
Bobcat’s senior product manager Katie Redenius emphasizes the MT120’s human-centered design: “We’ve packed professional-grade capabilities into a machine that fits where other equipment can’t.” The ride-on platform offers superior visibility to attachments and workspaces, while intuitive pilot controls ensure quick operator adaptation. Maintenance requirements are minimized through direct-drive systems and durable components.
Unmatched Attachment Versatility
With compatibility across 20+ attachment categories, the MT120 transforms from snow removal specialist to construction partner with simple tool changes. The machine handles everything from precision trenching to heavy material transport, making it ideal for landscaping, construction, and agricultural applications.
Expanding Bobcat’s Loader Legacy
The MT120 joins Bobcat’s MT100 in a growing family of compact loaders that began in 2002. This launch reinforces Bobcat’s commitment to providing contractors with right-sized solutions across its skid-steer, track loader, and articulated loader product lines – each designed to maximize productivity in specific working conditions.
