Ward CNC Appoints Phil Hopkins as Head of Strategic Sales to Bolster Soraluce Brand in the UK

T.W. Ward CNC Machinery Ltd (Ward CNC) has reinforced its sales and after-sales service teams with the appointment of Phil Hopkins as the Head of Strategic Sales. This move aims to fortify the company’s senior management and sales division, benefitting from Phil’s extensive technical experience in the machine tool industry, encompassing engineering and technical sales.

Phil’s journey commenced as a CNC machinist in the aerospace sector, evolving into a production project engineer before transitioning into sales, where he has consistently achieved exceptional results, surpassing targets, and nurturing strong customer relationships.


In his new role, Phil will primarily focus on promoting and selling Ward CNC’s Soraluce brand, which encompasses a portfolio of cutting-edge machine tools and value-added services. His responsibilities will include targeting existing vertical markets, strategic clients, and identifying potential new key markets and customers.


Expressing his enthusiasm for the appointment, Phil stated, “I’m very happy to have taken the position as Head of Strategic Sales here at Ward CNC. It’s a role I’m very excited to get started in, and I’m looking forward to working with and developing the Soraluce brand here in the UK.”
