The Wester Gourdie-based company has achieved an £8 million annual turnover through strategic investments exceeding £6 million in advanced machinery and workforce development. Their recent acquisition of a Nakamura JX-200 machine, financed through Bank of Scotland, enhances production capabilities for complex components destined for Norwegian, African, and Gulf of Mexico energy installations.
Developing Homegrown Engineering Talent
Managing Director Gordon Deuchars emphasizes the company’s dual commitment to technological advancement and local skills development. “Growing our own talent remains fundamental to our success,” said Deuchars, noting the six apprentices currently training alongside experienced engineers.
