Erbe Unveils VIO® 3n Electrosurgical Generators with New Configurations

by Anna

Erbe, a leader in electrosurgery with over 100 years of experience, continues to innovate in the field with the introduction of its latest VIO® 3n electrosurgical generators. The new systems offer five unique configurations—Fire, Water, Metal, Timber, and Stone—designed to address the specific needs of different surgical and endoscopic procedures. Each configuration comes with preprogrammed CUT, COAG, and dissection settings, aiming to enhance surgical efficiency and reduce operational complexity.

The VIO® 3n retains Erbe’s trusted electrosurgical modes, including endoCUT®, preciseSECT, and pulsedAPC, ensuring consistent tissue effects across a wide range of medical specialties. It also introduces a new mode, endoCUT® U, specifically designed for underwater applications, further expanding its versatility.

VIO® Seal: A Groundbreaking Solution for Bipolar Electrosurgery

Alongside the VIO® 3n, Erbe is introducing the VIO® seal, a specialized solution for bipolar electrosurgical procedures. Compatible with instruments such as TriSect rapide®, BiClamp®, and standard bipolar tools, the VIO® seal can function independently or in combination with the VIO® 3n, as well as older VIO® models like the D and S series. The unit features digital instrument recognition, ensuring smooth integration into existing surgical workflows.
