Isuzu Motors Limited has announced plans to introduce a new medium-duty electric truck powered by Accelera’s next-generation lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery technology. Slated for availability in 2026, the low cab forward chassis vehicle will expand Isuzu’s zero-emission offerings in the Class 6 and 7 segments, complementing its upcoming Class 5 N-Series EV launching this summer.

In a parallel development, Isuzu has committed $30 million to strengthen its partnership with Gatik AI, Inc. to advance Level 4 autonomous driving technology in North America. Current autonomous vehicle prototypes are being developed using Isuzu’s F-Series platform, demonstrating the company’s dual focus on electrification and automation.
