Measurement technology specialist Endress+Hauser and sensor company SICK have announced a partnership to enhance global customer support. The collaboration will see Endress+Hauser assume worldwide sales and service responsibilities for SICK’s process analyzers and gas flowmeters, leveraging its extensive international network to streamline customer experience.
Workforce Transition to Strengthen Operations
Approximately 800 specialized sales and service employees across 42 countries will transfer from SICK to Endress+Hauser as part of the agreement. This strategic workforce integration aims to provide seamless support for customers in key industries including chemicals, waste management, and shipbuilding – sectors that rely on SICK’s technology for critical applications like emissions monitoring and gas flow measurement.
Shared Vision for Sustainable Industry Solutions
Endress+Hauser Group CEO Peter Selders emphasized the partnership’s potential, stating: “This collaboration allows us to achieve more together in less time than either company could independently.” The alliance combines SICK’s expertise in environmental monitoring and gas measurement with Endress+Hauser’s global market presence to drive innovation in process industry sustainability.
Technology Integration for Market Growth
The joint venture represents a significant consolidation in process measurement technology, bringing together complementary product portfolios. SICK’s analyzers – used for flue gas cleaning and hydrogen flow measurement – will now benefit from Endress+Hauser’s established distribution channels, while Endress+Hauser expands its offering in specialized gas analysis solutions.
Future-Focused Industrial Collaboration
Beyond immediate commercial benefits, the partnership signals both companies’ commitment to supporting industrial sustainability transitions. By combining technological expertise and market reach, the alliance is positioned to develop advanced solutions for emissions reduction and clean energy applications in process industries worldwide.
